We attended the Greater Toronto Summit today, and had the pleasure of hearing the opening remarks of The Honourable Dalton McGuinty, MPP for Ottawa-South, Premier of Ontario.
Organised by the CivicAction Toronto Aliiance, leaders from business, labour, the academic, non-profit and voluntary sectors, and all three levels of government gathered to consider the current challenges and opportunities facing the GTA.Hon. McGuinty spoke about his commitment to building an even stronger economy, and was comprehensive about his plans for the city. His candid nature of obstacles ahead got the message home that Ontario business and government need to work together to improve the state of the city.
