The Lomography Gallery Store [LGS] does things right. We attended their "Love is in the Air" launch of the new limited edition Diana F+ “Take My Heart” and the Diana Mini Love is in the Air cameras. How were we lured in? We got invited, in person.
I have to admit, we were already in the store, both the editor of TSR and myself. I was weak, made pliable by the shiny colourful flashes, the smell of film and their collection of working vintage cameras. All they had to say was, "Come, there will be free candy and an open bar tonight".
Why a jar of candy? Guess the number of gumballs and win a Diana Love is in the Air Limited Editon camera.
Are reviewers biased? Sure we are. Nothing warms our cockles like a shop full of cameras. Valentines Day is coming up, and for all those photo nuts out there, the LGS is one place that will score a home run.
