A portion from the sale of the hearts were donated to the Laser Eagles Art Guild, a charitable organization that supports artists with disabilities. Heart paintings by the Laser Eagles were also on display, and LEAG-designed greeting cards were on sale.
The event took place in a cool loft-condo in Liberty Village; and the packed turn-out reflected the tone of the evening. It was quite an uplifting and happening crowd. Upstairs live music was played, food and drinks were served, and mingling ensued.
All of the artists from the Laser Eagles Art Guild were in attendance, pointing out their work, and seemed to be basking in their high-profile evening. We also want to make a quick note of how accomidating and helpful and nice the volunteers of the night were. Kudos!
