Wanda Koop, after her Q&A session. |
Presented by the Canadian Art Foundation, the Reel Artists Film Festival [RAFF] opened with the world premiere of KOOP, director Katherine Knight’s highly anticipated feature documentary on Winnipeg-based artist Wanda Koop.
Returning for its eighth installment with a tightly curated program of fascinating documentaries on visual art and artists, the opening night was held at the beautiful Koerner Hall in the Royal Conservatory. We were lucky to run into the artist herself, Wanda Koop, before the festivities began.
RAFF will be screening at the TIFF Bell Lightbox from February 24 to 27. Click here for the full RAFF program and screening schedule. ~GBrydson
