Local puppetter Ali Eisner delves into photography

Have you ever caught episodes of CBC's Mamma Yamma and wondered who could possibly be behind such a puppet? It's local artist of many talents, Ali Eisner. Eisner's website totes her as an "award winning Puppeteer, Writer, Composer, Singer/Songwriter, Photographer and Director for Children’s Television" and now she's on to photography.

In her debut photography exhibit, Favourite Things, currently on show at the Gladstone Hotel, Eisner is sharing some of her favourite images; images bound to astound, inspire, and shed some light on what it's like to lead such a creative life.

From now until January 19th, 2014, you can see Favourite Things at the Gladstone Hotel, 1214 Queen Street West.
