Welcome to 1928. You're at Girton Women's College and tonight's the night Virginia Woolf is going to speak. There's light music, you've had a couple drinks, you've just read an excellent excerpt from a classic novel whose home is in the library, and your mind is thriving in this enchanted atmosphere. You're hearing true anecdotes and written stories from Virgina herself. She's talking about women - women as writers and women as characters in the stories they possess. It's all very surreal; important. It's going to influence history in ways you can not even imagine.

From now until November 24th, 2013, guests are invited to experience Bloomsbury Collective's premiere of Virginia Woolf's A Room of One's Own at the Campbell House Museum.
Set in 1928, the all female cast and crew present Woolf's iconic work as an immersive and surely unforgettable theatrical production. Guests can explore the library, read newspapers from 1928, and discover the political and sociological temperature of the era while perusing Campbell House Museum and Virginia Woolf's quarters where one can peek at her letters and diary.
With a ticket, guests have access to the museum library for the entire run of the show.
