Recipe For Change 2012

Food Share's Recipe for Change 2012 was an absolutely scrumptious evening of food and drink in support of a good cause. The North Building of St. Lawrence market was bursting at the seams with food from Toronto's top chefs from kitchens such as the Fairmont, Cowbell, and Palais Royale, to name just a few.

Bite-sized versions of full meals tantalized the palate throughout the evening.  One of our favourites of the event was Le Sélect Bistro's Texas style Beef Brisket topped with a quail egg.  Another which stood out was a truly outstanding Indian-inspired pasta dish, done by Magical Catering.

To top it all off, some fine wineries also dropped by to provide some libations for all the foodies. Chateau Des Charmes' Riesling went down smoother than a glass of water. The evening's activities also included a silent auction held in support of Food For Change's grassroots work creating food co-ops and collective kitchens in urban Toronto communities.  We first covered Food For Change in 2011, and again we leave excited for more.
